The last two weeks sees me busy preparing content for two presentations that took place 2 days apart. A new Broncolor product launch and the annual WPPA conference for wedding and portrait photographers. Although both are events for photographers, the attendees were from different backgrounds in the photo industry.
My principle is that whenever I am invited to do a presentation, it must be done well. To do well, homework must be done. No shortcuts and no reusing canned speeches. Always aware of the audience and asking myself what I would like to hear. Looking back at all the talks, seminars and workshops I have conducted for Apple, Epson, Phase One, Sinar and many corporations, I am able to feel the crowd. The largest audience I have addressed is a crowd of 4000 women at the Borneo Convention Centre in 2014.
